SEEIP Overview
The SEEIP is a hybrid program that blends incubation, acceleration and tech transfer features. It facilitates digital incubation through e-learning, networking events, mentorship and alumni gatherings. To accelerate your business it provides independent R&D facilities, qualified specialists, and know-how to support you to build your entrepreneurial business competencies and make your startup succeed.
How it works
The initial stages of the program (Ground 0 and Launch stage) are open to anyone with an innovative idea and the grit to work on its development. We support innovators by Digital incubation – you don’t need to be in Sofia to benefit from specialised courses covering different aspects of creating and running a startup. Each team will be able to have a consultation with the course creator. There are also regular live events, networking sessions and webinars.
The next stages are open for trade registered startups working on their own R&D and take place on-site or in hybrid format, so startups can collaborate with any of the 11 high-tech laboratories, the Discoverer Supercomputer, Sofia Creation Station Makerspace, ClubHouse and use the additional facilities. Participants take part in demo sessions, workshops and networking events, allowing the startups to pitch to investors and form partnerships.
The program provides different services through every stage: from mentoring, validation, networking, fundraising and international market access – you are at the centre of the process.
Digital Incubation
SEEIP creates an ecosystem that supports, nurtures and develops initial research ideas into successful startups and helps them grow in international markets.
Each module is divided into different topics and lessons with industry specialists as teachers. The online lessons are in video format and can be accessed from a PC or mobile device. At the end of each topic there is a test, an assignment and the opportunity to speak directly with the teacher on specific questions related to your startup.
In addition, the hybrid format of the program will introduce you to exciting new people at the in-person events.
